I always knew I wanted to become a stylist even when I was told "you will make no money" or "you're too smart for that". I was driven and I knew what I wanted and was ready to prove everyone wrong. I graduated high school early and started cosmetology school. While my friends were enjoying their last summer at the lake before college, I was learning perms and roller sets.

I was a "salon jumper" in the beginning... I knew what I wanted but I just couldn't seem to find it. I finally found my salon home about 3 years into the industry and purchased it 3 years after that. I was still young, wild, and had no idea what I was doing but I knew it was what I wanted so I went for it. 

In the years of finding my dream salon to buying it and growing a team, I have had many ups and downs. A few years ago is when I decided I needed to share my journey and my challenges to help others build their dream life. I do this everyday in my salon with my stylists and it was time to help stylists all over the country. Give stylists a road map to success that passes those mistakes I made and get them there faster.
